Nightstand / Side Table in Black Walnut

The carefully articulated sides of the refined, sculptural form comprise a façade, symmetrical all-around, that allows the piece to be positioned within a space to be seen from any perspective. The corner-detail, shaped from the miter-joint, provides a compelling way to open the drawers without additional hardware. Deep reveals highlight each drawer-segment for which the wood is cut from one continuous board, so that the grain of that board wraps around the piece. The top is set into the cabinet, further accentuating the clean form.
